Historic Kitchen Renovation

This kitchen had a lot of charm and natural warmth that we wanted to build on. With that in mind we decided to keep the wall cabinets and find a way to stay true to the style of the home.

As we moved through the demolition phase there were many hurdles to contend with. A lot of mechanicals in the walls and many that were challenging to re-route.

The design actually changed at this point. The original plan was to keep the wall cabinets in the pantry but it became evident that though they had a lot of charm, they were lacking in quality construction and ultimately needed to be removed.
